Gamifying ubbu:
An Immersive Tech for Good Journey
What’s the user problem? The user problem that’s been identified
Users couldn’t fully appreciate ubbu’s story right away—it only came to life once they got deeper into the content.
The goal was to make the ubbu experience more immersive and engaging. By enabling users to visually explore the landscape of each destination, alongside the coding challenges, we made it easier for them to connect with the narrative and progress through the adventure. The result was increased user engagement and a deeper sense of connection with the content from the very start.

Impact of Gamification
Engagement was measured by dividing lessons started and resources played by active users, excluding YoY user growth. This highlighted how the gamified navigation improved meaningful interactions while YoY growth remained strong.
